Dr. Andrew Hall

Change is necessary to evolve, but, as we all know, introducing a new implant in the studio may be a challenge as it means to change the routine, our tools, and find a new balance. After 30 years as an implantologist, Dr. Hall would like to share his experience and highlight the reasons why he decided to start using the B&B Dental implantology system in his clinic.

Dr. Mattia D’Ambrosio

Clinical tutor for the degree course in dentistry and dental prosthetics in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Bologna. Author of scientific publications on oral surgery, he is involved in university scientific research and regularly holds courses on implantology. He will present the results obtained in the University of Chieti (Italy) research on conometric connection.

Dr. Matteo Baldini

This lecture provides an in-depth analysis of regeneration granules called Novobone, exploring its composition, mechanism of action, and clinical applications in dental bone regeneration with the use of clinical cases. It will also highlight the efficacy and safety profile, emphasising its ability to enhance osseointegration and promote predictable outcomes in various dental procedures.

Dr. Yari Basente

Dr. Yari Basente will present our new Duravit 3P-Long use and applications. This implant represents a valid alternative for dealing with nasal and pterigoid areas. Dr. Basente graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Sassari in 2012. He furthered his education by attending numerous advanced training courses and specialisations in various fields of dentistry, focusing particularly on prosthodontics, oral surgery, and advanced implantology.

Dr. Andrea Massaiu

Degree in Dentistry from the Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid. Medical Director of the Studio Massaiu Clinic in Sassari. He has specialised in fixed prosthetics and implants and then approached oral surgery and implantology. In his lecture, he will talk about how he became familiar with the conometrical method on implants and discovered its versatility for immediate load rehabilitations, developing a dedicated protocol.

Prof. Yi Man

Prof. Man Yi, professor, has worked as Chair of Oral Implantology at West China School of Stomatology since 2013. He received a Ph.D. in stomatology at the West China School of Stomatology in 2007, went to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine as an ITI Scholar and Clinical Instructor, and was at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University as a research scholar during 2010–2012. Dr. Man has been practicing hard and soft tissue augmentation and individual restorative methods in implant surgery and restoration.

Dr. Marco Roy

The lecture will take into consideration cases with bone atrophy of the maxilla, giving ideas on innovative solutions through the use of a pterygoid implant. Dr. Roy will tell us about how this connection has changed his own perspectives and ways to perceive the decisional tree for treatment planning. Dr. Roy has a PhD in the field of dental implantology. He obtained an ICOI fellowship and an EAO certificate in 2020, and the World Dental Council granted the award for leading implantologist of the year in 2019.

Dr. Marius Leretter

Dr. Marius Leretter is a university lecturer at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry within UMF Timișoara (Romania). Author of numerous publications (13 papers, monographs, and treatises, and 31 specialised review articles), Dr. Leretter is an active member of different national and international unions and associations.

Dr. Luigi Angelo Vaira

Subperiosteal implants were introduced 80 years ago to improve stability and retention of full dentures in patients suffering from excessive ridge resorption. With the rise of digital technology, especially regarding 3D printing, fabrication of patient-specific implants has become possible.

Dr. Vaira has been working as a consultant at the Maxillofacial Surgery unit of the University Hospital of Sassari since 2018 and since 2022 as an assistant professor. He is the author of more than 130 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and 3 book chapters.

Prof. Giacomo De Riu

Associate Professor and Director of Maxillofacial Surgery in Sassari, he is a Fellow of the European Board and a member of the Italian and European Maxillofacial Society. He deals with oncological, reconstructive, and malformative craniofacial surgery, as well as rehabilitative and pre-prosthetic surgery of the maxilla. His lecture, together with Dr. Vaira, discusses the rehabilitation of severe maxillary atrophies with iuxta-osseous implants.
